RECEIVING: Saturday, March 29 from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. at Gallery Concord. Pick up unaccepted work from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

AWARDS: First Place $100, Second Place $75, Third Place $50 and 3 Honorable Mentions.

ENTRIES: 2 paintings may be submitted. Original, recent water media on paper. No copies or class work. Paintings must be framed in metal or wood, covered in Plexiglas, wired and ready to hang. No sawtooths, clamps or screw eyes. Flat brackets required on wood frames. No cardboard or masking tape. No wide or Rococo frames. White or off-white mats only. Minimum frame size 14" x 14"; maximum size 35" x 35" framed. CWA policy is no nudes or political statements. 30-35 paintings will be accepted.

PRINTS: Accepted artists may put 2 unframed prints in the print rack, for sale.

GALLERY SITTING: CWA Artists will sign up for gallery sitting on three dates during the show. Gallery hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm.

LABELS: Fill in CWA label and attach to the upper left back of work. See website for CWA label form.

FEES: $10.00 entry fee each painting.

INSURANCE: Your paintings will be handled with the best of care; however, CWA and Gallery Concord volunteers assume no responsibility for theft, loss or damage of any kind. Insurance is the sole responsibility of the artist.

SALES: Sales will be made through Gallery Concord and if your painting is sold you may replace it with a similar painting. Checks will be mailed to the artist after deduction of 15%, which goes to Outreach.

RECEPTION: Friday April 4, 2008, 6 pm to 8 pm. Artists will sign up at receiving to help at the reception.
