RECEIVING: Monday, April 7th, 10am - noon at the USACE Bay Model, 2100 Bridgeway, Sausalito Pick up unaccepted work: Monday, April 7th from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the USACE Bay Model .

JUROR: Jerry Stitt; Nationally acclaimed master watercolorist (Signature member: AWS, NWS)

AWARDS: First Place $100, Second Place $75, Third Place $50 and Honorable Mentions.

THEME: "Water is Life" Envision: Oceans, rivers, sources of water, cycle of water, healing, life-giver, boats, cleansing, clouds, life-giver, cleansing, beaches, waterfalls, watermelons ...

ENTRIES: Theme: "Water is Life". Up to two original WATERCOLORS on paper may be submitted. No copies or class work. Paintings must be framed in metal or wood, covered in Plexiglas, wired and ready to hang. No sawtooths, clamps or screw eyes. Flat brackets required on wood frames. No cardboard or masking tape. Metal or Wood frames. No wide or Rococo frames. Neutral or off-white mats only. No copies or class work. The USACE Bay Model Visitor Center has determined unsuitable for hanging any nudes or any subject which could be construed as being of a religious or political nature. CWA reserves the right not to hang any painting.

FEES: $10.00 entry fee each painting.

INSURANCE: Your paintings will be handled with the best of care; however, CWA assumes no responsibility for theft, loss or damage of any kind during transport or exhibition. Insurance is the sole responsibility of the artist.

SALES: All sales will be made through the artist. All paintings must hang for the duration of the show. The artist is responsible for a 25% commission; 15% for the Outreach Fund and 10% for the CWA Building Fund.

ARTISTS RECEPTION: Saturday, April 12th, 2008 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Entrants are encouraged to participate in the Artists Reception.
