Paint Out at the Pittsburg Seafood Festival

Open to all artists working in any medium (non-CWA artist are invited to participate)

Sponsored by the California Watercolor Association and the 24^th Annual Pittsburg, Seafood Festival

$10 Pre-registration per day until Saturday, August 30^th:(Daily Entry fee includes festival admission)

$15 On-site registration per day at the Piazza Delle Arte' "Paint Out Booth"
(Daily Entry fee includes festival admission) on Saturday, September 6^th or Sunday, September 7^th between 9am to 10am

Rules:

9 am to 10am - REGISTRATION (canvas, paper, etc. will be registered prior to painting)

Pre-registered participants, go to pre-registration table at the Piazza Delle Arte' to register your paper or canvas and receive your registration packet.
Note: Park at the designated lots and take a free shuttle

Same day registration- participants, who register on September 6^th or 7^th, the day of the event, go to on-site Paint Out registration table at the Piazza Delle Arte' to pay fees, register your paper or canvas and receive an on-site registration packet.
Note: Park at the designated lots and take a free shuttle

10am to 2pm - PAINT

Select a subject and paint any scene visible from the grounds of the Festival site using any style or medium.

2pm to 2:15 pm , - DISPLAY at the Piazza Delle Arte'.

Each artist may exhibit one completed work in the display area. Do not mat or frame work until after the judging is completed.Work may be displayed on an easel or stand with the artist's assigned #

2:15 to 2:30pm - VOTE

Each day, Participants will vote for 1st, 2^nd ands 3^rd place awards using the special participant's ballot provided. You cannot vote for yourself.

The "People's Choice Award" will be decided by the viewing public

3:00 pm - AWARDS PRESENTATION in the Piazza Delle Arte'

3:00 pm- up to 7:00 pm:- EXHIBIT of the WORKS
